Living and constructing in today’s world: the ‘Fortina produced by Toppan’ solution
In the fields of
architecture and interior design, clients increasingly opt for products manufactured in respect of the environment and that guarantee health and safety. At the same time, trade operators are briefed to use lightweight materials that can be installed easily as this will reduce the on-site labor requirements, costs and construction times.
Toppan Printing Co., Ltd has provided an answer to both of these demands by associating design and advanced technical solutions that begin with its own printing experience.
‘Fortina produced by Toppan’, developed in industrial terms as a spinoff from the Living & Industry division. It is a system of cover materials for interior and exterior use. They consist of spandrels (slats) and louvers in aluminum coated in a PVC-free decorative film that produces an incredibly realistic reproduction of the appearance and the veining of a range of different wood types. The film can also be used to reproduce the textures of some metals and the earthy soul of terracotta. The range of more than 150 colors, textures and finishes provides the most appropriate choices for the specific context. Thanks to the 50 trim louver formats, this range provides an infinity of shapes and finishes; they are resistant to atmospheric agents and fire- resistant, with simple, rapid and low cost installation. Consequently,
‘Fortina produced by Toppan’ is an elegant and efficacious coating system that can satisfy a broad range of design requirements.
